The Central Government has planned to open Common Service Center for the ration card holders. About 23.64 crore people will benefit from this. 3.7 lakh Common Service Centers will be opened across the country. Here the name and other discrepancies in any ration card can be easily rectified.
Under this Common Service Center, applying for a new ration card, updating the ration card and linking Aadhar are also included.
For this, the Department of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution has tied up with CSC e-Governance Services India Limited.
A special unit working under the Ministry of Electronics and IT Said that this will make the ration distribution system as well as other works like improvement in ration card easier.
According to reports, with the opening of this center, the officials will reach such a village where facilities were not even available till now. The people there will get a big benefit from the opening of this center. The government’s ‘One Nation and One Card’ scheme has been implemented since last year. Under this, you can take ration anywhere in the country.
