The AAP Leader and Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, Manish Sisodia’s Office was raided by Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) again today.
Sisodia wrote on his twitter handle:
Today again CBI has reached my office. He is welcome.
They raided my house, raided my office, searched my locker, even searched my village. Nothing has been found against me and nothing will be found because I have not done anything wrong. Sincerely worked for the education of the children of Delhi.
The raid is in connection with purported lapses in excise related matters on part of Sisodia when he headed excise department of Delhi government. He is suspected to have favoured some private entities for pecuniary gains. Apparently, his decisions as minister led to loss to state exchequer which is vehemently denied by the AAP leader.
Aam Admi Party (AAP), the ruling party in Delhi has a long history of political feud with BJP and PM Modi.
